Uvongo, named after the Ivungu River, is famous for its 23m waterfall that plunges into the lagoon, making it one of the deepest lagoons in the country. The beach is popular for swimming, snorkeling, body boarding, surfing, jogging, canoeing, boating, romantic strolls, and exploring the rock pools.
