Every Saturday morning from 8:00am like clockwork there is a large community of runners that participate in this occupation, the trail you follow is roughly 2.5 kilometers and has many different types of terrain that you’ll complete. Although it is called a run it is not a requirement, you can move at whatever pace you feel comfortable, whether that’s a brisk walk, a light stroll or a run, it won’t matter in any way. Many different age groups join in on the park run, ranging from 12 years old to 75, it doesn’t matter what age you are, fun doesn’t have an age limit! So bring your sunglasses and water bottle and come join in on the fun!

Umtentweni Beach is not very well known which is quite pleasant if you’re not particularly fond of large crowds of people, it can be found on the southern coast line of Kwazulu-Natal, it’s a very clean beach and signs which provides information about the beach and it’s local sea life can be found on the walkway to the beach itself, braai areas that are well taken care of can be found on the beach the same goes for clean, functional public restrooms. There are lifeguards on duty with the necessary first aid equipment for the safety of the beach’s swimmers.

St. Michael’s Beach, South Coast, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), South Africa:

St. Michael’s Beach is one of our most popular surfing beaches, its unique formation creates the best waves for both beginner and experienced surfers. C-Bali is a beachfront restaurant and bar on this beach that has mouthwatering smells leaving the kitchen doors, they specialise in bringing a relaxed beach side restaurant. The tidal pool is ideal for younger kids or elderly family members, it’s reasonably shallow and has a handrailing low enough for the kiddies to hold on to as well. There is a large parking area at this beach, perfect for bike rides, skateboarding and not finding parking will not be a problem.
