OFFICIAL STATEMENT
26 FEBRUARY 2026
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF WET & WILD

uShaka Marine World’s Wet ’n Wild is temporarily closed following an unforeseen pipe burst which
resulted in the flooding of the plant room, affecting key operational filtration and electrical equipment.
As water quality and guest safety remain our top priority, Wet ’n Wild operations have been
suspended while repairs and the necessary technical assessments are being carried out.

Our technical teams are working diligently to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. At this stage,
Wet ’n Wild is expected to remain closed for approximately four days, subject to the progress of
repairs.

Please note that all other uShaka Marine World attractions remain operational and visitors are
welcome to continue enjoying these experiences.

Updates will be communicated should there be any changes.

uShaka Marine World apologises for any inconveniences caused and appreciates the patience and
understanding of our visitors while we work to safely restore operations.
